Privacy Policy & Cookies
This privacy policy explains how MotorcycleCosts.com ("we", "us", "the site") processes personal data when you visit the site. MotorcycleCosts.com is the data controller for the site. Cookies and similar tracking come from third parties and are described under each provider below.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. MotorcycleCosts.com does not set its own cookies. The site only stores your consent choice locally in your browser (localStorage) so it can be remembered. This storage is needed for the consent tool to work and is not sent to us. Cookies from Google AdSense are described below.
Google AdSense and advertising
If you accept advertising, MotorcycleCosts.com loads Google AdSense to display ads in the marked ad spaces. Google and third-party advertisers may then use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads, including ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Without consent, the AdSense script is not loaded and the ad spaces stay empty. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.
Analytics and traffic measurement
If you accept statistics, MotorcycleCosts.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views so we can improve the content. It does not use cookies. It records details such as the page visited, the referring site, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type. To tell visits apart, Vercel creates an anonymous identifier from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The page view statistics themselves are stored by Vercel for the reporting period of the site’s plan and may be kept longer. We treat statistics as non-essential, so they only load after consent.
Consent: how to accept, reject and change your choice
On your first visit you can choose "Accept all" or "Reject non-essential tracking". Below you can also choose statistics and advertising separately. Without consent, neither Vercel Web Analytics nor Google AdSense is loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time here or via "Consent settings" at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, the page reloads without the tracking concerned. Data already sent to providers is not deleted automatically. Clearing cookies or browser data only removes what is stored in your browser and does not stop processing that has already happened at third parties.
Your rights
Under data protection law (including GDPR where applicable) you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data we process about you, as well as the right to restrict or object to the processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
Contact
Questions about privacy, or requests to exercise your rights, can be sent to core.calculators@gmail.com.
